25th Street has served as the business corridor for Ogden Utah since the arrival of the train in the 1870s.  With hundreds of trains and thousands of people stopping in Ogden on a daily basis, they needed access to the comforts of home within a short walking distance.  Outside of the Union Station grew barbers, saloons, hotels, and restuarants.  The street quickly earned the nickname "Notorious Two-Bit Street" that allowed access to any vices a person so desired.

Drawing from the Weber County Assessor's photographs, WSU photography students re-created the buildings and images along 25th Street in the modern times.  This re-photography served as the basis for the exhibit.  It was also decided to capture the current buisnesses and owners along the street for the historical record.
